I love making my own household cleaner because it is pure and simple while still very effective. Vinegar and essential oils have been known for years for their beneficial properties when it comes to keeping things free and clean. I use this spray on all kinds of surfaces in my home. I find myself using it most for wiping down my kitchen countertops, appliances, and table…but it works great in all areas of the home. Not to mention…it smells absolutely amazing!
Ingredients
- 16 oz. glass spray bottle
- 16 oz. distilled water
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 10 drops peppermint essential oil
- 10 drops orange essential oil
- 10 drops lemongrass essential oil
Instructions
- Using a funnel, pour vinegar and essential oils into glass spray bottle, swirl around to incorporate (Mixing the oils and vinegar first helps the oils to distribute more evenly with the water once it is added).
- Pour distilled water into bottle, tilting up and down to combine.
- Do a happy dance as you clean and inhale the beautiful aromas!
